Our NB SAMPHIRE GIN is a truly unique, elegant and contemporary London Dry gin. Distilled using hand-picked marsh samphire from the coastal areas of East Lothian.
Recently awarded Bronze in the 2024 International World Spirit Competition (IWSC). Not quite a gold to compliment our other NB Gins and only one point away from silver but we are thrilled and proud to be awarded Bronze...in the world! Judges described it as "soft and mellow with elegant floral and lemon zest flavours. A spicy finish".
Samphire is what makes this gin so unique and special. Also known as sea asparagus or glasswort, it is a vibrant green plant grown in abundance around the coastal marshlands in East Lothian. We forage for the samphire in the peak summer months to create this truly stunning and contemporary gin.
It is not overly flavoured with no sweeteners or additives. The tones of green tea are complimented with a warmth of ginger and vibrant citrusy notes. Clean, fresh, subtle flavours with a touch of the east coast.

TASTING NOTES
The Nose: A subtle green tea note gently gives way to Juniper followed by vibrant citrus.
The Palate: On tasting, the subtle tones of green tea are confirmed.. This gently gives way to Juniper followed by a burst of fresh citrus. The ginger contained leaves a comforting warmth of the throat.
The Finish: Smooth and dry with a good length of finish.
Try It: As a classic, refreshing G&T. We recommend with a light tonic (not flavoured) and a lemon peel curl to garnish.
