NB Barrel Aged Rum (70cl)

Our third limited-edition release of NB Barrel Aged Rum is a beautifully complex, cask-strength expression, aged for three years in an ex-Oloroso / ex-whiskey single barrel.

Bottled straight from the cask at a bold 58.4% ABV, this exceptional rum delivers rich, layered character with depth, warmth and a beautifully long finish. With layers of estery sweetness, soft red fruit and subtle smokiness, creating a rich and indulgent rum that is wonderfully uncompromising.

With only XX bottles produced, this is a truly limited release for rum lovers and collectors alike.

Tasting Notes

On the nose: rich caramel and burnt wine, with warming barrel notes.

On the palate: rich and viscous, with estery sweetness from the barrel, soft red fruits and a light smokiness. Notes of burnt wine develop alongside hints of soft spice, building in intensity before leading to a full-bodied, long-lingering finish.

Try it: best enjoyed neat or over ice to appreciate its full depth and complexity. For something more decadent, use it to create a luxurious Rum Old Fashioned or Martinez. Or simply enjoy it your way.
