Our NB SAMPHIRE GIN is a truly elegant, unique and complex London Dry Gin, inspired by our beautiful East Lothian coastline. Distilled with hand-picked marsh samphire for a delicate coastal character, balanced with a gentle warmth of ginger and vibrant citrus notes. The result is a beautifully fresh and distinctive gin with a subtle hint of the sea and a wonderfully smooth, complex finish.

Not quite a gold to complement our other NB Gins and only one point away from silver, but we are thrilled and proud to be awarded Bronze...in the world! Judges described it as "soft and mellow with elegant floral and lemon zest flavours. A spicy finish".
Samphire is what makes this gin so unique and special. Also known as sea asparagus or glasswort, it is a vibrant green plant that grows in abundance around the coastal marshlands of East Lothian. We forage for samphire during the peak summer months to create this truly distinctive and contemporary gin. It is delicately flavoured, with no sweeteners or additives, delivering a clean, fresh character with a subtle touch of the East Coast.
Tasting Notes -
The Nose: fresh and coastal, with delicate florals, green tea and bright citrus. A subtle herbaceous note brings a touch of the sea.
The Palate: subtle floral tones and delicate hints of green tea gently lead into classic juniper, followed by a vibrant burst of fresh citrus. A warming touch of ginger lingers on the finish, adding a comforting hint of spice.
The Finish: smooth and dry with a good length of finish.
Try It: as a classic G&T. We recommend a light tonic (not flavoured) and a twist of lemon peel for a refreshing coastal G&T.
